Leroy Palmer Consulting Engineers is looking for a Structural or Civil Engineer (graduate to experienced) to join our growing team.

The Role (What You’ll Actually Do)
You’ll be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team delivering practical engineering solutions and high-quality documentation across a range of projects. Depending on your discipline, your role will focus on either Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering:
Structural Engineer
- Structural design and detailing of slabs, footings, framing systems, and structural elements;
- Delivery of projects across residential, commercial, and industrial developments;
- Coordination with building design and architectural drawings;
- Review of existing structures and development of practical solutions;
Civil Engineer
- Civil design including site grading, stormwater management, and drainage design;
- Preparation of documentation for DA and operational works;
- Coordination with structural outcomes to deliver integrated project solutions;
- Involvement in servicing, access, and site development design;
Shared Responsibilities
- Liaison with clients, builders, architects, and other consultants;
- Managing workload, programming, and priorities to meet project deadlines;
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to achieve effective project outcomes;
- For more experienced engineers, the role may also include project ownership, mentoring junior staff, and increased client interaction.
About You
You’ll fit in well if you:
- Have completed (or are close to completing) a Structural or Civil Engineering degree
- Have a solid grasp of engineering fundamentals within your discipline
- Communicate clearly
- Can work independently but still value teamwork
